Nollywood actor, Junior Pope, dies in a boating accident.  Nollywood has been thrown into mourning following the sad demise of Nollywood actor, Junior Pope. The actor and three of his colleagues were coming back from a movie location in a boat when they fell into Anam River in Anambra state.  Their bodies have since been recovered.  Hours ago, the actor shared a video of himself taken yesterday in a boat and praying frantically to arrive at his destination safely. The accident unfortunately happened on his way back from the location today April 10th.  The actor is survived by his wife and three children. May his soul rest in peace senior colleague 😭😭😭

NON-KINETIC APPROACH, KEY TO COUNTERINSURGENCY OPERATIONS - THEATRE COMMANDER The Theatre Commander Joint Task Force (JTF) North East (NE) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), Maj Gen W Shaibu, has said the non - kinetic approach is a panacea to enhancing counterinsurgency operations in the NE. He disclosed this when he received a delegation from the Accra Initiative (AI) for Regional Strand on Non-kinetic Strategy in Combatting Insurgency, led by the National Coordinator Security Governance Initiative and Adviser to the Chief of Defence Staff on non-kinetic, Hon Aliyu Ibrahim Gebi at the Headquarters Theatre Command Maiduguri, today 29 March 2024. Represented by the Deputy Theatre Commander Maj Gen KE Chigbu, the Theatre Commander noted that the kinetic approach alone was not enough to curb insurgency, but rather compelled insurgents to surrender.
